It’s no secret I’ve had my hands full over the last year. I’ve been unwell, I’ve had a number of breakdowns and dealt with a lot of stress. I’ve had a lot of toxic people in my life – who are thankfully all gone now. Thankfully, we’re all good now. Thanks to an awesome group of friends, followers and things… I’m now feeling and doing great.
So now I want to share what I’ve learned with you guys.
The biggest change has definitely been what I would now call “goals”. My dream lifestyle has completely changed. I’m now working towards my own goals, I’m not living through someone else, I’m now living my own dreams. I’m now working towards my own goals. I’m no longer being convinced by toxic people that my dreams aren’t valid.
If you have a goal, If you have a dream... then go for it! And if anyone makes you believe you can't do it or that your dream is silly... then they're not worth it! You can try and convince them, but the best friends are the ones… Click To Tweet

Taking Care of My Health
I never looked after my health. If you were following my blog whilst I was studying, you’ll remember the amount of caffeine I drunk every day. Constant espressos, I was drinking coffee on tap. In all honesty, I’m impressed that I didn’t have a caffeine overdose towards the end.
I was drinking more than I would do normally, using it as a way to cope with the stress. Having cocktails and things every day.
I was eating ok, my eating habits were reasonably healthy. But my coffee habits and the lack of sleep were not great. I was regularly staying awake working for days on end without sleeping.
After recovering, I made a promise to myself that I would never work in this way again.
Enjoying My Passions
I let my blog take the backburner last year. I didn’t post as often as I like. I let my content sit… and I always missed it, but at the same time… I didn’t have the time to sleep, let alone write blog posts.
Now, I’m always making sure I enjoy the things I love first before everything else.
Making Time for Friends
I am now making sure I take the time to spend with my friends. Enjoying the time I have with them, making sure I appreciate them. Some people come and go, some people aren’t going to see your value… but just make sure you always appreciate those who do!
